Upcoming foldable phone: to have Samsung's patent? details here!
Samsung has been making up with the major drawbacks it went through in the past months particularly the battery issues in the Samsung Note. Right now, it appears that Samsung will be collaborating with the foldable phone having a Samsung patent.
As reported in GMS Arena, this Samsung foldable phone will feature bendable displays and a detachable camera module. In addition, there are some possible features of this foldable phone. The handset is made out of two distinct pieces, placed together back to back.
The first part seems to be completely covered in a display. The other part likely houses the actual internals of the device. Also, it is complete with an identical foldable segment.
On the other hand, if this device is not folded, the front panel is all display from edge to edge. The home button is left on the back side. Fo the camera, there is a fixed camera in the upper left corner and a socket for attaching the external camera module.
The device also has two parts to be slightly slided and then folded. This is where the home button will be found. The home button is found underneath the display.
Meanwhile, according to IBTimes, the rumors about this Samsung's foldable smartphones are already growing in the past months. South Korea's Samsung Company seems to be creating a new trend and design for the future of smartphones.
With this, it was reported that it will be labeled as Samsung Galaxy X. It will be the upcoming flagship phone that is expected to feature a foldable display. In addition, these set of information were documented by the Korea Intellectual Property Office and was picked up by the Galaxy Club.
This Galaxy X is expected to be launched in 2017 even if Samsung is preparing for the Galaxy S8.
