'Jurassic World' Sequel Spoilers, Release: How 'Jurassic World 2' Will Be Different Compared To The Rest
When Jurassic World came out, the expectations of people was not that high. Mainly because the first Jurassic park movies are somewhat known as "classics" and let's face it, no one can beat the classics. However against all odds the movie did incredibly well.
It did so well that it has earned over $1.5 Billion in box office revenue alone! According to Digital Spy, the next movie will come out around 2018 June or early July. It is quite far away but considering the amount of work that goes into making the dinosaurs, it is worth it.
According to J.A Bayona, the second upcoming Jurassic film is going to be different from any Jurassic related movie done in the past. This includes Jurassic World as well as all the Jurassic Park series. Sequels are a tricky thing and most part 2 of movies did not do nearly as good as the first.
There are some exceptions of course, such as Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Toy Story, and Star Wars. However it could be that Jurassic World would be a part of that list. According to an Exclusive reported by Cinema Blend, he gave a quote.
Now what is interesting about this quote is that it does not spoil anything about the movie, but once one hears it they will start anxiously waiting for the new movie. He mentions that the new movie will be so much different from the other movies. He said it will be fun but it will also be dark.
He kept using the word Dark over and over again. He mentions how it will be very dark and will focus on the current time we live. Other sources also talk about how this movie will have dinosaurs that will be weaponized. This means that the plan of the antagonist in the first movie will succeed in the second.
However one thing that is confirmed is that the beloved raptors will remain, they will not be changed.
