Arsenal remains atop the Premier League table but faces two huge and daunting tasks in coming weeks. The team faces Liverpool this weekend and will also have a match to settle at home with Manchester United the week after.

The game against Liverpool is actually the harder of the two as the Reds sit six points behind Arsenal and have two of the best scorers in the league. Luis Suarez has 23 goals on the season while Daniel Sturridge has 14. Furthermore, Liverpool has a record of 10 wins, one draw and one loss at home.

"Arsenal are the leaders in the table and victory would be good for morale, give the whole squad an enormous injection and reduce the points difference at the top," said Suarez in an interview with the Daily Mirror. "We didn't have success at the Emirates, so our objective now is to win and I believe we have that chance."

"I'm confident we can beat Arsenal. We definitely have the strength to do so," he added. "They are the leaders at the moment but we can give them a hard time. It won't be an easy game but I am sure we can do something in front of our fans."

Arsenal's defense is the second best in the league with only 21 goals against; meanwhile, Liverpool is second best in goals scored with 58.

Arsenal defeated Liverpool 2-0 on the road last season before enduring a 2-2 draw at home. This season the team managed a win at home.
