Nokia WILL Return in 2017 With Two New Android Phones
Nokia has just laced up its shoes to jump into the fray with possibly two new Android powered Nokia handsets in the coming year. Of the three models the Nokia D1C is its most promising. Aside from potential features, speculations have priced the phone at a startlingly low Usd150 for the basic model.
One of the the first quality mobile phone brands, Nokia has made a name for itself in this particular market. Nokia phones are known for their durability and hardy brick like handsets, before the rise of touch screen technology and the birth of smartphones, Nokia phones were basic and picked by everyone for their user friendly interface, and was one of best brands to be choose.
Hence, Nokia is banking on its name, brand recognition, and years of solidifying customer loyalty for the success of their smartphone launch and its subsequent sales. Currently, Nokia is neither confirming nor denying the competitive phone prices, according to News 18.
Speculations reports gives two prices for the same model with different specification. The first model will come up with a 5 inches full HD display and 2GB RAM, this will be cost around Usd 150. The second version will be with 5.5 inches HD display and 3GB RAM, which is said to be retailed at Usd 200 to 250.
As far as specification concern, the Nokia D1C series is said to run on Android 7.0 Nougat, the latest OS, the new flagship will be powered by a Snapdragon 430 processor, according to Oigel. This Nokia smartphone seems to be angling for competitive pricing coupled with considerable operating power. And a 13 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front facing camera.
However, Nokia is neither confirming nor denying these specification, the Nokia D1C promises to be the first in a generation of new Nokia smartphones. Fans are already expecting two new Android phones the experience and hardiness typical for a Nokia phone, but only time will tell if Nokia can bring features new enough to stay alive in the market or not.
