Road to Boruto" Game Expansion Leaps Out with a Second Promo
An expansion pack for Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate ninja storm 4 is on the way that will be available in 2017. The movie-based game with likely see inclusions of new adventures and events. The promo trailer for the game is out on YouTube.
Movie-based game Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate ninja storm 4 will likely receive the Road to Boruto expansion that's expected to be available worldwide in February. Dedicated-anime site Crunchyroll, who specialize in translating japanese to english and re-release them in high quality on their website reported the news also revealing that the update would both be a standalone release and also a downloadable update.
The report also mentioned that the expansion pack would add new add-ons like adventures and battles alongside various events. The promo for the PS4 is out on YouTube. Earlier it was reported that the expansion pack would be an extension to the current story from the past. The new trailer was announced at the Tokyo game show by the developers that also detailed the fans to as to what they can expect and a potential release date.
The release date has in fact been fixed with the update rolled out this Feb. 03. Existing owners who purchase the expansion pack will gain direct access to Boruto which was previously made a pre-order exclusive only. A direct access for players to play as 'Boruto' is only currently offered to existing owners in the adventure mode and can also use the character to complete missions in different locations.
It's understood that the physical game bundle that will see a standalone release will also come out with a game soundtrack for both the standalone release as well as the add-on update. Its now clear that the Road to Boruto expansion's new playable characters shall be eligible for gameplay in both offline and online battle modes and fighting styles for Naruto and Sasuke. Forbes also mentioned that the existing game has already managed to sell a million copies worldwide.
