Samsung To Launch 6-Inch Model Of Galaxy S8
Samsung may have been in trouble with its Galaxy Note 7 but it is trying hard to get onto its toes with all possible efforts. Such is the upcoming innovation of this South Korean Company: Galaxy S8. According to latest rumors, the smartphone will be released in two variants by the first phase of the upcoming year.
According to the latest revision done by GSMArena, Samsung is going to reveal two Galaxy S8 models in the first launchpad of Galaxy S8 Series smartphones. The original Galaxy S8 will come in the regular size of 5-inches as its predecessor model of Galaxy S7. Another quotient will come in an attractive outlook much alike phablet having a reflective 6-inches AMOLED display.
As per Engadget, Samsung Galaxy S8 would have an edge to edge display. The 6-inches variant, Galaxy S8 Plus as it is currently thought to be named, will come with much instances and advancements which can be seen in recent phablets. Besides it is also said that it will also boast some extremely supportive features which were seen in Galaxy Note 7. However, it is also speculated that Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus will not have any kind of stylus support. Potential sources suggest that both the handsets will sport fingerprint scanners embedded in their display sections.
Previous insights even surfaced that Galaxy S8 models would have curved edges. However, the new reports don't stress any objection on this matter. Both the initial variants of Galaxy S8 Series will reportedly be unveiled at a superlative launch event in New York in April 2017. Both the models are expected to reflect Samsung's very own Artificial Intelligence based smart assistant support. Although, it is not yet confirmed from the company's end.
The price index for both the models are still unknown. But reports state that Galaxy S8 Variants would be packed 15-20% more attributes than its predecessor Galaxy S7. So, it may not be wrong to say that the price tag would be a bit higher than earlier expectations.
