Elon Musk's 'The Boring Company' Can Be Both Useful On Earth and on His Martian Colony
Elon Musk has really been finding ways to use all the technology he can afford, just to make life easy and or to discover life outside the earth. On his day to day activity, he has been using his experiences to make bright ideas, something that seems bizarre to others but may be useful in the future. Now, the founder of Tesla and SpaceX came up with an idea to make tunnel boring machines, to help transport vehicles and avoid being stuck in traffic.
According to a report from Nasdaq, Elon Musk was so frustrated over traffic last weekend, like everyone does, that on his time stuck on it, he made use of social media to vent out his ideas. On his twitter post, he called his next business venture as "The Boring Company" which came from a machine that will bore tunnels that vehicles can drive through. These tunnel-boring machines that can dig into the earth are big and wide enough to fit a rocket inside and the billionaire himself wants to start entering into this kind of business.
His ingenuity and determination have confused a lot since he first started his plan of building a Martian colony. Although his tweet maybe just a spur of the moment, his wealth and influence can make all his ideas happen. But chances are, he will be facing a lot of competition on that kind field of business, competitors who have been there years back.
Among those who have been key players long back are Hitachi, Bosch, Terratec and a lot more with projects worldwide as per reports from Fox News. However, Elon Musk must dig deeper as well on venturing to these businesses so as to avoid the fate of Caterpillar who ended their TBM machine-building on 2013 and is slowly downshifting its equipment until the end of this year.
As long as he can perfect his "The Boring Company", he can make TBM work here on earth and on mars, as this equipment can make radiation-proof houses on the red planet. Elon Musk can and will do this with his purposefulness and power to influence most especially his projects' sponsors and investors.
