NBA Update: New York Knicks Lose the Last Four Christmas Game over Boston Celtics with the score of 114-119
Christmas comeback is what the Knicks trying to do but Celtic's reaction was solid and Smart. The Knicks wiped out with a late nine-point that suddenly 11-2 run in somewhat more than a minute. While, Avery Bradley, and Al Horford made a huge defensive play, Smart replied with his shot that made a tiebreaking.
According to ABC BEWS, the Celtics beat New York with a score of 119-114, where Isaiah Thomas score 27 points, and Marcus Smart the 3 -pointer who made a tiebreaking with 47 seconds left. Thomas said that they did a good job by simply being quiet and gutting out to win. Carmelo Anthony got scored 29 points as well as Derrick Rose that has 25 points for Knicks that drops to 2-29 on their NBA record.
However, Anthony said it was an intense loss for them though they do not want to lose at everything but unfortunately, they are. As Celtics took a halftime, Crowder had made a three consecutive 3-points in the second quarter that scores 54-48 in favor with Celtics. The Celtics leading score is much bigger in the second half and never let the Knicks make much dent in it though it continually made a few stops and points at whenever it got inside within a couple of possessions.
Boston stated that Celtics was not shaken when Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis score all the points that tied up with 112 by Anthony's layup with 1:06 to play. Smart said Knicks had the crowd behind them on an exceptionally special day and the team just simply did a good job. The Celtics worked around with Smart for his 3-ponts, and Bradley constrained Anthony to turn it over on New York's next possession.
When Thomas hit a free throw to make it a four-point diversion and remained that way, Horford blocks Porzingis' shot as he attempts to do so. Brad Stevens, Celtics coach stated that he thought his team will truly fight but the response was incredible as they tied up. Knicks did lose their last four Christmas games. Knicks last victory was in 2011 over Celtics in what was the NBA season opener that follows a lockout.
