It's no secret that Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar love their big family that includes nineteen kids ... so far. 

On the home page of their family's website, you can even find a Bible quote from Pslams 127 that reads, "Children are a blessing from the Lord."

Since Michelle and Jim's vow to stop birth control methods and "allow the grace of God" to help them conceive, Michelle has given birth approximately once every year and a half, resulting in a grand total of 19 children.

However, as age catches up with Michelle, it's been harder for her to have a child.

Us Weekly reported that, "Michelle most recently gave birth in 2010, following a life-threatening bout of pre-eclampsia. The next year, she got pregnant again -- only to suffer a miscarriage at 19 weeks. The three years since are the longest stretch of time in 27 years that she has not been pregnant."

Despite her difficulties and older age (Michelle is 47), she and her husband are determined to evenly round out the number of children they have with a whopping number 20th child.

"We are just going to check and see that I'm physically in good condition," Michelle said in the clip of an upcoming episode of TLC's "19 Kids and Counting." "We would love more children if God saw fit to give us more. I just want to make sure that I'm ready to catch a baby if that would happen."

The clip also shows the Duggar couple visiting an OB-GYN who specializes in high-risk pregnancies. The Doctor, whose name is Dr. Paul Wendel, warns the couple about their decision and explains that Michelle getting pregnant at her age is very "unusual."

Despite the doctor's doubt and high concern, Michelle still seems determined to at least give pregnancy a try.

"If I am in that season of life where we're not able to have any more, then I'm fine. I'm happy with that," she tells him. "But [we're here to see] if there are things physically that I need to know, that I need to do, health-wise, just to be ready to catch a baby if God saw fit to give us one."
