Even with summer coming, video game makers don't take breaks. There will be plenty of games released this summer. For now, what are the best games for 2014?

MLB 14: The Show (PS3, PS4, PS Vita)

The Sony-exclusive baseball simulator made improvements to its annual game. Now, you'll be able to import your stats to future versions of The Show and keep up with all your efforts and successes from 2014.

Tired of baseball games lasting so long? With a quickplay option, you'll be able to complete an entire 9-inning game in under 30 minutes.

The Show gets used to how you play with dynamic difficulty. Once it sees how well you play The Show, the game will adjust its difficulty to cater to you perfectly.

The Playstation 4 version has the best graphics and performance for The Show, but PS3's version comes in a close second.

Daylight

Think of daylight as a first person shooter without guns. In fact, you won't have access to any weapons in this survival-horror game. You'll wander around a haunted hospital with just a cell phone. Rooms are randomly generated, so you'll get a unique experience compared to other gamers. Can you escape the haunted hospital?

South Park: The Stick of Truth (XBOX 360, PS3)

A "South Park" RPG? Yes! This game had tons of delays and questions about it, but it delivered. With tons of voiceovers, jokes and original content from the show, "South Park" fans will love this new game.

InFamous: Second Son (PS4)

This open-world adventure/action game puts you in the shoes of Delsin Rowe. Delsin has just discovered he has superpowers, and he can use them against the extremely oppressive authorities in Seattle. The graphics are remarkable, and the gameplay is super fun. This game is being labeled a must-have for PS4 owners.

Titanfall (XBOX One)

Right now, it's the best Xbox One game out there. The multiplayer shooter is much faster than other shooters you've played. This one is fast, fun and difficult. There's machines that you can jump into, and you'll feel like a transformer. You'll be able to jump off walls and do a lot of climbing. The game may feel like a Call of Duty game, until you see all of the extras and freedom you're allowed.

This game is a must-have for Xbox One owners.
