The newest open world action-adventure, Watch Dogs is a video game by Ubisoft Montreal, the same makers of the Assassin's Creed video game lineup. Published by Ubisoft, Watch Dogs is scheduled to be released for Microsoft Windows. It will also be available for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, and PS4, as well as having a later Wii U release date.

Gameplay

An action adventure game, Watch Dogs can be played by up to three persons. In order for the story to continue, the players need to fulfill missions. Players can roam freely in the open world of Chicago. It features Aiden Pearce, a vigilante who collects information from different electronic gadgets as part of the central operating system of the city.

The game allows players to control Pearce by permitting the gamers to use different techniques to solve their objectives. Built with numerous applications like 'profiler' and 'crime prevention system', the in-game smartphone of Aiden is where most of the hacking takes place. Information can be accessed by the player through Aiden's smartphone and any crime that will happen in the city is made known by Aiden to the gamer. The applications found in the phone correlate with the surroundings around the gamer. Information about civilians is also received by the gamer through enhanced reality feeds that give health, demographic, and behavior data.

Watch Dogs is set for release on May 27, 2014 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC. The released trailer of the game showed several detailed gameplay features like multi-player, companion apps, characters and driving. It has a morality system like inFamous: Second Son. Other major characters were also shown in the trailer, such as Clara Lille and T-Bone Grady.

Watch Dogs is priced at $59.99. Be sure to check in your local stores as some are already offering sales promos.
