Attention Samsung fans: if you liked the Galaxy S5, you're definitely going to like the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini.

Samsung's mini series reportedly began two years ago in 2012, according to G4Games. The first phone that was introduced to the mini series back in 2012 was the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini.

Because of the "mini" success of the Samsung mini series, a new trend emerged where other smartphone manufacturers began to incorporate designs and specs from their flagship phones in order to create new mini phones.

So what will the S5 mini look like?

The Fuse Joplin reports that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini, which will be released sometime around June 2014, will be quite similar in design to its predecessor the S5.

The mini includes a 4.5-inch screen and a super AMOLED display. Its resolution is rumored to be 720 HD with a pixilation of 720 x 1289 pixels and a pixel density of 326 ppi.

The upcoming phone will also come in a variety of colors and will feature a sportier design as well.

As for the camera, the S5 mini camea will have a front camera of 2 MP with a resolution of 3264 X 2448 pixels and a rear camera of 8MP. Like the S5 camera, the mini will include touch focus, face detection, HDR, panorama, geo tagging, and video recording ability with 1080 resolution at 30 frames per second.

The price for the mini phone has yet to be announced. However, the S4 mini is currently priced at around $500, according to the The Fuse Joplin, so expect the S5 mini to be a bit more.

Kpopstarz reports that the S5 mini will likely be promoted in the entry-level market that includes first-time Android users as well as most students.
