Solange, Beyonce & Jay-Z Elevator Fight: Solange to Reportedly Publish Tell-All Book on Relationship with Sister, Brother-in-Law
Following her infamous attack on brother-in-law Jay Z in an elevator at a Met Ball after-party on May 5, Solange Knowles is reportedly planning to publish a tell-all book about her family.
Solange, Jay Z, and Beyoncé released a joint statement after the altercation calling the fight an "unfortunate incident."
"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it. Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family," said Solange, Jay Z and Beyonce in the joint statement.
However, Solange is apparently sick of being in her older sister's shadow and wants to take action about it. "Solange was always in the background while Beyoncé was the golden child," a source close to the Knowles family said, according to In Touch magazine. "She's sick of being held down and she's ready to fight back."
"Solange is growing increasingly fed up with playing second fiddle to Beyoncé, 32, and sources believe she's ready to spill the beans on everything from their estranged father to how Beyoncé turns a blind eye to Jay Z's womanizing."
Solange Knowles' alleged book will detail "shocking secrets" about her family, specifically the "troubled" marriage between the "Drunk in Love" duo -- "abuse ... Jay Z's cheating ... Beyoncé's fake pregnancy and baby bumps" -- and much more.
In addition to exposing the hip-hop power couple's private life, Solange will also write about her relationship with estranged father Matthew Knowles, whom the "Partition" singer rarely mentions in her life.
The Houston, Texas-bred singer is reportedly getting paid $20 million for the book. However, she has yet to publicly respond to recent reports regarding her alleged tell-all book.
