'Pokémon GO': 80 New Gen 2 Pokemons Arriving This Week
The fans of "Pokémon Go", have been waiting for a long time for the entry of 2nd generation Pokemon. There was no previous announcement about such a step from the company and it looked like a distant dream.
Surprising its fans with good news, Niantic has announced rolling out of 80 plus "Gen 2 Pokemon" Characters. They will appear by the end of the week reports, Mirror. There was an event earlier where the company introduced Gen 2 ''Babies'' but it was not such a big update to the game as this one is.
The Pokemon to release will be all Johto region Pokemon and this might give a huge resurgence in interest in this game reports, Forbes. John Hanke, CEO of Niantic.inc, said that they are working hard to provide new characters. The company is totally invested in enriching the "Pokemon Go" in every which way for years to come. The players can expect new features like in-game and live events and new Pokemon.
This is a massive update and fans can expect many more features other than the "Gen 2 Pokemon." The reworking of the encounter and capture system is also going on and there will be the addition of new items required for evolution. There is also news of the introduction of new kinds of berries and new customization items for trainers.
The company has been dropping hints about this new update for quite a time now and fans are expecting a lot from this update. Though there are about 100 new "Gen 2 Pokemon" characters in the Gold and Silver edition. Eight of them are babies and six are Mythic characters. Further reports might later indicate more than 80 characters but the company has not yet worked out the plan of rolling out Mythic characters. Stay tune for more "Pokemon Go" updates.
