His singing career may be in decline, but bad boy pop artist turned wannabe rapper Justin Bieber doesn't seem to care. And why would he? After all, he makes mad stacks and he's on vacation, in Europe, chillin'. 

The ever-present paparazzi captured the Biebs looking calm, cool and collected onboard the luxury yacht 'The Indian Empress' in the South of France. Bieber was seen chatting with other beautiful people, drinking a beer and soaking up the sun. He was already in the area having attended the ultra posh Cannes Film Festival which concluded on Sunday.

The images also clearly captured Bieber's fashion sense. He was sporting a trendy orange bathing suit and little else. What stood out the most about Bieber's boating adventure was his trusty six pack abs and bulging arms. 

Bieber was always in decent shape, but lately he's ratcheted up his workouts and is yoked. Perhaps the Vanilla Ice comparisons weren't so off-base. Rob Van Winkle, as the Ice Ice Baby signer is known in real-life, left the music biz after his early 90s fame and become a workout fiend. Bieber has a ways to go to get the size and definition of Van Winkle, but he's off to a pretty darn good start.

Before, Bieber was apparently using sizzurp regularly -- an awfully dangerous codeine and alcohol mix that put rapper Lil Wayne in the hospital last year, but quit. He realized that the high life was getting in the way of his herculean gym regimen. 

What's especially interesting about Bieber's rapidly increasing bulk is that he is acting less Bieber-like, according to sources close to the Bieber camp. It's yet to be seen though if his reported bratty persona is gone for good. A social media post, from the time he was onboard 'The Indian Empress', seems to suggest as much.

The serene message read: "Went to watch the sunrise by the rocks. A moment I will never forget."
