"Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" director, Rian Johnson, will be joined by "Star Wars" franchise production studio, Lucasfilm, head Kathleen Kennedy at an event that is set to take place in April in Orlando, Florida.

According to The Independent citing Starwars.com, "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" trailer is likely to make its first appearance at the Star Wars Celebration that is said to take place in Orlando between April 13 and 16. The event will be attended by Johnson and Kennedy.

There may not be an official confirmation that the trailer will appear at the said event, but if history is any indication, the first look of JJ Abrams' "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was also first revealed at a similar panel that took place in Anaheim, California, back in 2015. Based on that pattern, the possibility of "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" trailer in Apr. 2017 cannot be ruled out.

As the fans impatiently wait for "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" trailer, director Johnson shared a sneak peek of the film, ahead of Star Wars Celebration event, to pique the interest of its enthusiasts, Express reported.

Meanwhile, "Star Wars 8: Last Jedi" poster has also been revealed recently that finally gives the fans a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming epic space chronicle. The poster shows Rey and her allies all set to fight the First Order.

In the said poster, Rey (Daisy Ridley) is featured along side Finn (John Boyega) and Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac). Rey's look slightly different in the poster, with her hair appeared to tied at the back, but most of her hair falls softly on her shoulder, a look different than "The Force Awakens." However, what is striking is to see Rey wielding the lightsaber, unique to Skywalker.

While the "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" trailer is still awaited, the film release date, Dec. 18, 2017, is certain.
