'The Seven Deadly Sins' Season 2 Airs February on Netflix; Premiere Episode Plot Synopsis, Promo Clip Revealed
"The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 has officially been confirmed to be released this February via one of Netflix's advertising banner. However, subscribers and fans claimed that Netflix made a mistake by labelling the OVA of "Signs of Holy War" as Season 2.
According to Anime News Network, "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 has been rumored to be released this February when an advertising banner showed that it will premiere this February 17, 2017.
Despite that, fans of the "The Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 claimed that Netflix made a mistake and "Signs of Holy War" will be aired instead.
In line with this, the returning cast includes Yuuki Kaji as Meliodas, Sora Amamiya as Elizabeth, Misaki Kuno as Hawk, Aoi Yuki as Diane, Tatsuhisa Suzuki as Ban, Jun Fukuyama as King, Mamoru Miyano as Gilthunder, Takahiro Sakurai as Griamor, Ryohei Kimura as Hauser, Maaya Sakamoto as Merlin, and Yuuhei Takagi as Gowther, Inquisitr has cited.
As for the official plot synopsis of "The Seven Deadly Sins: Signs of Holy War", it has been noted that, "When a kingdom is taken over by tyrants, the deposed princess begins a quest to find a disbanded group of evil knights to help take back her realm.
Taken the kingdom of Leones back from Holy Knights, the Seven Deadly Sins, along with Elizabeth and Hawk, can finally enjoy peaceful lives they earned. However, with premonitions of a new threat are looming, their happy, ordinary days are about to end soon."
"Seven Deadly Sins" Season 2 is officially under the licensed anime series of the online streaming giant. Not only that, Funimation has already acquired the home video rights of the anime adaptation series just recently.
"The Seven Deadly Sins" is a Japanese fantasy manga series written and illustrated by Nakaba Suzuki.
