Hilary Duff was spotted on a romantic vacation in Costa Rica with her new beau, Matthew Koma during Valentines day. On the other hand, his ex-husband Mike Comrie is being investigated with rape at home. 

According to Us Weekly, Hilary Duff and Matthew Koma (both 29 years old) spent the Valentines day at the lavish Four Seasons Costa Rica located at Peninsula Papagayo. 

The new couple's getaway came after making their red carpet debut at an Entertainment Weekly bash on January 28,2017 following a weekend away at Santa Barbara's San Ysidro Ranch.

TMZ has learned that on Wednesday, Februay 15, 2017, Mike Comrie is being investigated by police after an unidentified woman claims he raped her multiple times at his West Los Angeles condominium unit. Though the former husband of Hilary Duff and NHL athlete says the sexual encounter was consensual, the woman allegedly rushed herself to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to get a rape kit. 

As of this moment, no charges have been filed against Mike yet.This is because the Los Angeles Police Department are still investigating and gathering information about the complaint and allegiations.

According to divorce documents, the Hilary Duff and Mike Comire signed a prenuptial agreement prior to their August 2010 wedding, and had been separated since the start of 2014. Duff, 29, filed for divorce a little over a year later in February 2015.

The pair finalized their divorce in January of last year, after splitting almost two years earlier. The pair agreed to co-parent their now 4-year-old son Luca, sharing joint physical custody and adhering to a "mutually-agreed upon" schedule.

Duff and Comrie ended their five year marriage in 2015, and have been co-parenting son Luca ever since. The former couple have worked hard to remain on good terms for the sake of their child, and most recently spent the holidays together.
