Samsung electronics will be revealing the next editions of Galaxy 'S' smartphones at the Mobile World congress in Barcelona that'll likely happen in the coming week. The Galaxy S8 is one of the most debated smartphones that's expected to be released during the MWC. But that said, certain revelations regarding the smartphones might lead to people thinking twice about buying it.

The Galaxy S8 in the past has been rumored to come out with a new Exynos 9-series chipset, proprietary of Samsung and will also be offered in Snapdragon variants to US consumers like the past. The pricing for the smartphones are expected to be announced at the time of launch but however, as per details from BGR, the phone is expected to cost around US$1000 for the non-edge variant itself.

This might come as a shock to all those who were waiting to buy one, but however, due to trending market changes and demands, such a pricing was actually expected for the previous generation Galaxy smartphones. With the arrival of the Galaxy S8, Samsung might now compete directly with Apple whose phones also begin with a similar price range.

With the photo courtesy of Sammobile, the image seems to have also leaked details about color choices for the Galaxy S8 and also the S8 Plus, with new variants Gold, and Orchid gray being introduced to the consumers. The Galaxy S8 smartphones would be coming with advanced AMOLED panels alongside a bezel-less display, per reports from Forbes.

It might take some time for the direct comparisons with Apple iPhone 8 to take place, due to the fact that the latter smartphone follows a September release schedule. It's only a matter of time until all details whether rumored or confirmed, to be officially unveiled by Samsung themselves and until then, all rumors as such will just stay as it is.
