Samsung Galaxy S8 rumored to be in succession to the existing Galaxy smartphones have been in the discussions ever since the Galaxy S7 smartphones were released. This seems to be a tradition for smartphone enthusiasts not just from Samsung but for all others in general. Maybe, that's primarily why smartphone manufacturers strive to execute their business models perfectly to suit consumer needs.

Samsung Galaxy S8 might not come out with its bigger brother the S8 edge immediately, but however will be announced alongside a bigger variant of the S8, as 'Galaxy S8 Edge Plus'. The naming scheme sounds nothing different from the past, only indicating about a bigger display panel now rumored to come out with an advanced AMOLED panel and a totally bezel-less form factor. In terms of hardware specifications, both the Galaxy S8 smartphones will supposedly come out with a new processor from the Exynos family of processors that is a proprietary property of Samsung.

In a recent tweet from their Twitter feed, the Exynos 9 series chips are now all but confirmed. But if the same process is carried over by Samsung, US consumers might still receive only the Snapdragon variants, with the South Korean firm securing exclusive rights to implement the new Snapdragon 835 chips from Qualcomm. Cnet also reported that Sony will be supplying the batteries for the new S8 smartphones.

Sam Mobile on the other hand also revealed further details like color choices that Samsung will likely offer for their consumers. The said color choices are expected to include the common choice being black and two new variants, Orchid gray and Gold variants.

There are some ongoing rumors that the Galaxy S8 smartphones will likely cost more than the existing Galaxy S7 edge by over an increment of US$ 100. Most of them will likely wish it to just stay as rumors until the final announcement from Samsung is due.
