The official YouTube channel for Square Enix's "Final Fantasy XIV" game has begun streaming a new opening trailer on Saturday for the game's much awaited "Stormblood" expansion. According to reports, the trailer also reveals the new job Samurai.

According to Anime News Network, Square Enix originally revealed the new job during the "Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival" in Frankfurt, Germany on Saturday. The expansion will also be featuring the new Red Mage job.

Stormblood, the game's second overall expansion, is launching in Japan, North America, and Europe on June 20, 2017. A Collector's Edition will also be launching on the very same date.

The expansion will be featuring Ala Mhigo as its backdrop, with the storyline centering on the city's liberation. Twelfth Legion Legatus Zenos yae Galvus, who is the ruler of the said city, serves as one of the enemies that players will be facing.

The expansion will also feature the raising of the level cap from 60 to 70 and will be adding some new dungeons, new high-level raids, new alliance raids, and some new gear. The expansion will also enable players to swim and dive, along with increasing players' inventory size.

Other additions would include a fourth residential district, new areas, new crafting recipes, a new primal, and some changes to the battle system. According to Silicon Era, when Stormblood officially rolls out, Square Enix and Sony will stop supporting the game for the PlayStation 3.

Square Enix released "Final Fantasy XIV Online" for personal computers way back in September of 2010. After multiple criticisms coming from fans, the company then revealed an updated version of the game entitled "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn," to go along with adding a new world and story.

"Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn" then officially launched on the PS3 and Windows PC in August 2013, then on the PS4 in April 2014. Square Enix then released the first expansion, entitled "Heavensward," in June 2015.
