HTC U Ultra Launching With A Secondary Display In India
HTC is going to launch its first unit of U-series smartphone soon, the HTC U Ultra in India. The company has sent out media invites for the event which is going to held in New Delhi on 21 February. HTC may launch the U plays as well along with the HTC U Ultra but there is no confirmation done by the company yet.
According to GadgetsTouse HTC U Ultra is a high end smartphone with a high end chip-set, it will come with quad-HD display and a secondary display. It is build up of glass on the front and back and metal frame on the edges which makes it look a really premium and classic smartphone. The U Ultra comes in Sapphire Blue and Brilliant Black color options.
As per Digit The HTC U Ultra smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC clubbed with 4GB of RAM. As far as camera's concern at the back there is a 12-megapixel UltraPixel camera, like the one found on the HTC 10, while at the front is a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The device also sports a new audio technology known as U-Sonic. The company says that this technology allows the device to deliver true sound based on the user's listening behavior.
The device is available mainly in 64GB and 128GB storage variants and it isn't yet known if HTC will launch one or both these variants in India. The launch price of the HTC U Ultra in the country is not yet confirmed, but in the UK, prices for the device start at Pound 649, which is roughly Rs. 54,100.
On the software front, the smartphone runs Android 7.0 Nougat with HTC Sense UI on topof the smartphone. Connectivity options include fingerprint sensor,Type-C support, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, and WiFi. The smartphone will be running on a 3,000mAh battery that comes with support for Quick Charge 3.0.
