ABC's Jimmy Kimmel will host the said event which will be shown live on over 225 countries worldwide, in the UK, Sky Cinema special Sky Cinema's Oscars channel will be on its late night show.
According to reports from Us Weekly, the awards night will air on ABC at 8:30 p.m. ET, with red carpet coverage at 7 p.m. ET, and live streaming online at abc.com or on the ABC app. For the record, "La La Land" holds the most number of Oscar nominations with 14 at hand including Best Picture and recognitions for the lead actors Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone. With "Moonlight" as second in line for 8 nominations, this movie poses a threat for "La La Land" if it hopes to bag all 14 awards.
The star-studded lists of presenters are Amy Adams, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Janelle Monae, Charlize Theron, Chris Evans, Halle Berry, Riz Ahmed, John Cho, Scarlett Johansson, Samuel L. Jackson and Kate McKinnon. While the Oscars will have performances from Justin Timberlake, John Legend, Sting and Lin-Manuel Miranda, this year's Academy Awards will surely be exciting, especially for the 25 nominated actors and actresses who anticipates for the "Swag Bag".
