Nintendo is perhaps just days away from the official launch of its Nintendo Switch. But before the debut of this incredible console, the company sets its online account's targeted security measures a bit higher than earlier tightness. The company just added a new addition of Nintendo Online Account's User ID Potential sources stated that this User ID will be the one and only path for online identification for one's existence.
According to The Verge, it is not the old technique of identification via Nickname. Some experts and games' analysts are even claiming that this User ID will evolve all types of verification and identification systems of Nintendo Account set up into one and only route. It may seem to be little difficult at the first attempt, but if one has had already used an online Nintendo service before, then this new system will not be that much complicated to him/her. It is much alike Nintendo's Network ID which was previously seen in Nintendo branded consoles.
However, as per a report by Engadget, this new concept of User ID always drawn a permanent closure to Nintendo's earlier sort of identification source: Nintendo Network ID. This Nintendo Network ID was used for access to all the available online services with the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS, like Nintendo eShop and Miiverse. By this, users were able to grab their favorite stuffs from the Nintendo eShop by paying or alternating through eShop Wallet.
The new user ID is just the latest thing on the surface of Nintendo Account probably made for the identification and account authenticity verification purpose only. Although, not much have been explained by Nintendo authorities regarding this addition till now. As far as the currently derived indications are concerned, this new system has been implemented specifically for Nintendo Switch console.
