Jennifer Lopez's Alleged Beau Drake Wishes Ex-Girlfriend Rihanna ‘Love’ On Her 29th Birthday [DETAILS]
It looks like Drake still has a lot of love for ex-girlfriend Rihanna despite being linked to Jennifer Lopez. Drake gave a shoutout to Rihanna for her 29th birthday on one of his shows in Dublin this week. The "Hotline Bling" singer said that he still has "love" and "respect" for Rihanna.
The rapper momentarily took some time from one of his Dublin shows to acknowledge Rihanna. New York Daily News reports that instead of Drake singing Rihanna the Birthday song, he performed their collab song "Work."
Drake and Rihanna were dating for a while before the former couple broke up on October last year. The rapper has since then been linked to fellow singer Jennifer Lopez when a cute Instagram photo of the two was posted on both their accounts.
During the Dublin show, the now 30-year-old hitmaker even said that he has been in love with Rihanna since he was 22 years old. Drake professed that Rihanna is someone he has looked up to even though the Barbadian singer was younger than him.
Despite being broken up, Drake remained jovial and respectful for Rihanna. According to E News, Drake has never said a bad word to any of his exes in the past as well. It seems that Drake has remained attach to his former lover even after months of not being together.
This wasn't the only time that Drake made sweet gestures for Rihanna. During the VMA's 2016 awarding, he was the one to present the "Monster" singer with her MTV's Video Vanguard Award and even made a grand speech for Rihanna before then. Drake is currently linked to Jennifer Lopez but there has been no direct confirmation of their relationship as of this writing.
