Android Users Can Now Find Google Drive Files Just By Looking For Those In Search App: Know How
The usage of cloud storage has already turned into a regular habit to many individuals and various organizations for safeguarding many important contents. But the users will now have a convenient solution for this problem as Google is rolling out an update by which an Android user will be able to discover all his saved docs by just searching for it on Google Search app. However, this easy process will now be limited to Android platforms only.
According to Android Authority, the users of Android devices will be able to search and find their required docs stored in Google Drive in just a blink of an eye. To proceed with this process just they will need to open the Google Search app on their devices and look for the content's name in the search tab. As soon as the whole searching is done, the user will then require tapping on the "IN APPS" option on the right-hand side of the top menu.
As per a report by TNW, this attribute will allow users to solve many major documents related issues within just a fraction of seconds. Android users are expected to see this update on their devices within a few days from now. Google's such big initiative may arise the hope for Apple users as well to see similar developments in the case of iOS devices as well. However, the Cupertino-based tech giant has not yet mentioned about any such update to be seen on their devices too.
Among other newest lineup of attributes, Google is reported to roll out a new feature which will allow its users to avail improved 2-step verification prompts for various Google apps. This is also expected to be seen on Android platforms as well.
