How To Make The Most Of EMUI 5.0 Interface In Huawei Smartphones?
Huawei smartphone users were lacking the software to match its hardware till now. Then the latest edition of Huawei’s proprietary user interface EMUI 5.0 arrived, which is to be placed over the top of Android 7.0 Nougat.
Huawei Mate 9 became the first device to run on EMUI 5.0. However, the interface will be available as a free update on the Huawei P9, P9 Lite, Nova, Nova Plus, Honor 8, and the Honor 6X very soon.
According to Digital Trends, there are few tips that users can apply to make the most of EMUI 5.0. With the help of the new interface, users can hide all the rarely-used apps for a cleaner home screen. Here is how one can activate App Drawer; Go to Settings > Home Screen Style, and select either Drawer to activate the app drawer, or Standard to show all app icons on your home screen.
Another important feature of EMUI 5.0 is the App Twin. Users can now operate two different Facebook or WhatsApp accounts from the same device. For this go to Settings > App Twin, and enable the desirable app to make a twin of it.
Next is the Private Space feature only available if the device runs on EMUI 5.0. Through this, users can create a fingerprint-protected space that is a clone of the original device when it was first bought. For this go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Users, and select PrivateSpace.
Another EMUI 5.0 feature is the Split screen mode. It is now possible to multiple apps simultaneously by activating this feature. First, go to Settings > Smart Assistance > Motion Control, and then simply select Split Screen Gesture. Then, toggle the switch on.
According to The Verge, Huawei has decided to replace android's default navigation keys with fingerprint sensors. The new Huawei P10 featured fingerprint sensors that can be used to do all three tasks that the navigation keys would usually do.
Easy to use, a short tap goes back, a long press goes home and a swipe brings up recent apps. Needless to say, the design has become more modern and classy with a lot more screen space.
