'Dragon Quest Heroes 2' Coming to PC via Steam this April 2017
Word of the PC release date for "Dragon Quest Heroes 2" was accompanied by a new trailer which sets the stage for a war between the Seven Realms that after a century of peace now seem "guided by a mysterious and malicious force.
According to Game Rant, Square Enix has officially announced the sequel of "Dragon Quest Heroes 2". In celebration of the announcement, a new overview trailer has also been released.
In addition to the standard version of the "Dragon Quest Heroes 2," the "Explorer's Edition" will feature 15 exclusive DLC to assist in the fight against swarms of enemies and to return peace to the world, according to Silicon Era. Day One "Explorer's Edition" includes15 exclusive DLC items and reversible cover art.
As for the official gameplay synopsis of "Dragon Quest Heroes 2" it has been noted that, "As cousins and knights-in-training Lazarel and Teresa, you must fight along with other heroes to defend your land from an invading Dunisian army, led by none other than your old friend Prince Cesar."
"Explorer's Edition" is now available for pre-order from the Square Enix Online Store and also on PlayStation Store. It includes the items Drackerang, Goodybag Abacus Gem Slime Sword, Robo-Bow, Plat o' One Tails, Golem Gauntlets, Slime Stack Stick, Royal Flush, Night Club, Archdemon Arcs, Slime Knight's Shield, Great Sabreclaws, Shadowblade, Robo-Racer and Imp's Fork.
"Dragon Quest Heroes 2" Day One Explorer's Edition will cost $59.99. Those who pre-order from the PlayStation Store will get an exclusive PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system theme, with "Dragon Quest I" Hero Costume and a special "Healix the Hero" recipe for Dragon Quest Builders.
In Europe, the PlayStation 4 version of "Dragon Quest Heroes 2" will launch on April 28. The game is also scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch along with the first Dragon Quest Heroes, however, we don't have an exact release date for the system.
