Shaq & Big Show A No Go At ‘WrestleMania 33;’ Negotiations Between The Two Failing But Shaq Stays Positive
Shaquille O'Neal broke the hearts of many NBA and WWE fans when he said that negotiations for the WrestleMania bout are failing. There is a huge chance that the highly-anticipated bout between Shaq and Big Show will never really happen if they never agree on a deal. The two big men have been hyping up fans and made everyone anticipate for their April 2 fight. But Shaq is not closing the door yet. He said that if there is a chance that the bout pushes through he'll be ready for it. He's going to train and take down Big Show.
Shaq admits there are problems with the WWE fight between him and Big Show and it's not his fault, TMZ reported. The 7'1" basketball star said in his podcast "Big Shaq" that the fight may not push through. He mentioned that the fight is not looking good but not off yet. Shaq even added that he is currently working out and he boasted that he looks better than Big Show.
Meanwhile, Big Show claims that Shaq is actually scared to face him at the ring, Sky Sports reported. O'Neal once said that once the fight is good to go, he would immediately start training twice a day. He vows that if Big Show shows up, he's going down.
Aside from a WWE war, Shaq is also in another kind of battle: a Twitter war between him and JaVale McGee. Shaq's video making fun of McGee's gaffes was uploaded by the NBA star which led to insults being hurled back and forth. The Golden State Warriors center said that it was weird that Shaq thought about him immediately after waking up. Shaq tried to keep it funny but can't help threatening McGee and even calling him a bum with a photoshopped image of JaVale's face over a homeless guy. McGee said that he won't keep quiet this time and called Shaquille nuts.
"WrestleMania 33" is live on Sky Sports Box Office. This is on Sunday, April 2.
