The movie is speculated to set in the modern era of Paris, where Diana (Gal Gadot) opens an email letter from Bruce Wayne (Ben). There will be a photo within the email that Ben found on Lex Luthor's hard drive. The email will also contain an invitation to join the team of Justice League. When Diana sees the photo, she is immediately brought back to the past and reminisces how she meets Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) during the period of World War I.
