Range Rover Velar Comes In 2018 With Powerful Features Amidst Its Sophisticated Design
The 2018 Range Rover Velar has already given a hint of what the company wants their new product to be. An elegant, sleek SUV but can work tough and rough on the road, it is the newest weapon of the company who has been testing their vehicles since late 1960's. The name itself was previously used on some of the company's model way back and it is opting to focus more on the design to attract consumers.
Inspired by Italian Massimo Frascella who worked with Land Rover's Chief Design Officer Gerry McGovern at Lincoln, the looks of Range Rover Velar impersonate how the two work on their car design. With its pure, sleek surface, a generous extent of its body, and the compulsive way of how these artists change the form of its details, it can surpass the looks of previously made SUV's. According to reports from NDTV, It may go between its fellow Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport and ambitiously overtakes the sales of BMW X4, Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class Coupe, and the Porsche Macan.
Because of its design, the 2018 Range Rover Velar can attract its potential buyers as well as its uniqueness from earlier produced models. Other first of its kind feature includes a flush door handle that automatically pops and closes depending on the use. In addition to its features, Driving reports that it has a drag coefficient of just 0.32 making it the most aerodynamic Range Rover and an all-LED lighting inside and out.
The Range Rover Velar is timely for this year's summer as it gives promising off-road qualities behind its sophisticated look. Being an AWD vehicle, it can adjust to different weather conditions, it also has a rear-locking differential with Land Rover's configurable Terrain Response 2 driving. It is available in Europe with six-engine options while Canada only gets two kinds for its market.
