Movado Android Smartwatches: Five Unique Customizable Dials, Deatils, Released Date; Price Starts At $495
Fall of 2017, Movado set to launch its Android Wear smartwatch and will unveil a slew of its devices at Baselworld 2017. Aside from Swarovski announcement to unveil its smartwatch "for her" at the annual and jewelry trade show, Qualcomm hinted a lot are coming on the way.
Movado Group has joined the Android Wear family and will soon launch its own "smartwatch collection." The company is a well-known fashion brand in watches and will be branded as Movado Connect. Swarovski also announced their own Android Wear smartwatch "for her" at Baselworld 2017.
Early this year, Qualcomm hinted that more Android Wear smartwatches are coming and will be revealed at the largest watch trade shows. The lineup of Movado Android Wears designed for the version 2.0 of Google's smartwatch operating system. Android Central reported that LG Watch Sport and Watch Style apparently launch the version in Feb.
Movado Connect planned to unveil five men's style of Android Wear 2.0 lineup with a starting price of $495, 9To5Google has reported. Movado confirmed that its smartwatches will be available in Caribbean, United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. The company stated that under Movado Connect brand, the smartwatches will feature "five unique customizable dials."
The five unique customizable dials also have three to four customizable elements like watch hands, complications, and backgrounds. Complications offer a brief glance into a calendar or in user's fitness activity and other specific apps. Movado reportedly will offer further customization than what is currently available in the market for an Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches.
Movado Group also specifically mentions the Android Pay compatibility so, the company will likely to feature NFC and the more improved Google Assistant. The well-known fashion brand stated that the smartwatches will have round screens, always-on display, iOS and Android compatibility and improved fitness tracking.
Though specifications and photo are yet to unveil as of the moment, Movado also owned the Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger brand. The two brands of Android Wear will also unveil later this year to further expand the company's fashion realms in the fall of 2017.
