It's case closed for Paul Walker's daughter Meadow who was at the center of the legal custody battle to determine who in Walker's family would get full custody of the 15-year-old girl.

On Wednesday, the courts decided that Meadow would live with her biological mother Rebecca Soteros and her nanny.

The court's decision most likely made the late Paul Walker's parents cringe in their seats.

A few months ago in March, Walker's mother, Cheryll Ann Walker filed for full custody of Meadow following her claims that Soteros was an unfit mother.

Cheryl said that Soteros had a drinking problem and was a negative influence to Meadow.

Despite Cheryl's claims, it seems that nowadays things are turning around for both Meadow and her mother Rebecca.

The Daily Mail reported that Meadow's attorney, Amy Nieman, revealed in court that Rebecca was currently undergoing treatment for alcoholism and is now sober.

With her newfound sobriety, Rebecca is also reportedly spending more time with Meadow while Meadow will also be looked after by Paul Walker's close friend to ensure that the teenager receives proper care.

There are "a lot of layers of support for Meadow," Nieman said in court.

She continued, "The estate of the 'Fast & Furious' franchise star has purchased a home where Meadow and her mother can live."

Now that all has been settled, perhaps now Paul Walker can officially rest in peace.

Paul Walker died on Nov. 30, 2013, at the age of 40. During the time of his death, Walker had been filming "Fast & Furious 7."

Universal Pictures is now enlisting the help of his brothers, Cody and Caleb Walker, to finish some of the action scenes.

"Fast and Furious 7" stars Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Chris "Ludacris" Bridges. It is slated for release April 10, 2015.
