'Deadpool 2' Update: Atlanta's Zazie Beetz Confirmed To Play As Domino In Deadpool Sequel Movie
After several months full of speculation about the X-Force mercenary's role in the upcoming "Deadpool 2" movie, fans and moviegoers have finally got confirmation of just who will end up bringing Neena Thurman to life in the movie. According to reports, it is going to be Atlanta's Zazie Beetz, and, since it's Deadpool-related, people got to learn all about it in the weirdest way.
According to Gizmodo, fans officially learned about who will be playing Domino in "Deadpool 2" through a silly Ryan Reynolds tweet. The tweet was pretty clever, as remarked by several fans, and some have even said that it was a great casting, even if most fans we're still a little disappointed that the rumor about Janelle Monáe taking the role didn't pull through.
Regarding the character role, she is an expert sniper who first appeared in 1992's X-Force #8. Domino is a mutant with the power of altering probability, something that usually is subconsciously triggered in moments of stress that telekinetically changes the odds in her favors while giving her opponents some bad luck to her convenience.
Over the years Domino has been a somewhat of a thorn in Deadpool's side as much as she has been an ally of his. But perhaps the most important for "Deadpool 2," according to Variety, is Domino's long relationship as the confidante, as well as the occasional lover, of time-traveling Summers child Cable-who, of course, is the other bit of casting news that fans have been waiting to hear about ever since the first "Deadpool" Movie
More details and information regarding the much-anticipated superhero movie will be coming as the production team has already dropped a recent trailer for everyone's delight. As of the moment, few casts and character roles have been disclosed, as "Deadpool 2" is expected to be out sometime in early 2018.
