'The Flash' Spoiler: 'Ant Man' Actor David Dastmalchian To Cast As The Weather Wizard In Season 3
CW's main DCTV show, "The Flash," is winding down on production on its third season of the hit show. Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), is on the verge of making his final showdown with Savitar, but there are also some new foes that will get into his way potentially as a result of the recent Flashpoint event, which has been a running theme of this season.
According to Screen Rant, set photos has previously leaked from an upcoming episode of "The Flash Season 3," showing Gustin's stunt double fighting the double of a particular character with white hair. These are the same photos that featured Kevin Smith, though nobody is quite sure whether he has returned to the director's chair or if he was just visiting the set, but either way, the identity of the actor behind the said white-haired character has now been revealed.
Actor, David Dastmalchian, who has recently appeared in "Ant-Man," has been spotted and confirmed as the character with white hair on the set of The Flash, seemingly sharing a scene with Flash, Vibe, Gypsy, and Kid Flash. If Gypsy is also involved and is in pursuit of Dastmalchian, it seems likely that he is a bounty target that she is after from Earth 19.
An additional photo from Dastmalchian's Instagram also featured the actor getting his hair dyed and reading Flash: Rebirth #15, an issue which features one of Flash's villains, The Weather Wizard. Many fans are considering it as a major clue as to who he is playing.
According to Spoilers Guide, if the rumors and speculations are to be true, that would make Dastmalchian the third actor to play a Weather Wizard ever since the pilot episode of the show. In addition being in Marvel Studio's "Ant-Man," Dastmalchian is also no stranger to either genre movies or DC Comics properties.
Dastmalchian has also appeared in Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" as a mental patient disguised as a Gotham City Police Officer. He has also been doing a recent stint on FOX's Gotham TV show, where he plays morgue night manager Dwight Pollard.
