After the success of FX series "Legion", Fox and Marvel TV has teamed up once again to develop another X-Men television series. And now the working title of the series has been unveiled.

According to Digital Spy, X-Men franchise producer Lauren Shuler Donner has recently shared a photo of the show's full cast on Twitter. She captioned the snap with "Cast reading for Gifted".

Fans went into a frenzy to see "The Originals" star Joseph Morgan in the photo. Speculations started to arise that the actor might leave the vampire-centric series to jump into the bandwagon of superheroes.

According to Entertainment Weekly, several sourced has stated that Morgan has not been cast in the X-Men TV series. He was merely there to fill in for the read-through. EW also confirmed that "Gifted" will not be the official title of the series. It is the current working title and will change once the show is ready to air.

Actors Stephen Moyer, Jamie Chung, and Amy Acker were previously announced to be in the series. The tweeted photo also featured Emma Dumont, Percy Hynes White, Blair Redford, Sean Teale, and Natalie Alyn Lind.

It is to be noted that Professor Charles Xavier, played by Patrick Stewart and James McAvoy in the movies, often called his mutant students as "gifted". The word is also present in the name of his school, Institute for Gifted Youngsters. Coincidentally, the first volume of Joss Whedon's Astonishing X-Men comic series has also been titled Gifted.

The pilot of "Gifted" revolves around Kate, played by Amy Acker and Reed Stewart, played by Stephen Moyer. They are ordinary parents who one day finds out that their children have special abilities.

Hunted by the government, the family goes into hiding. They come across an underground network of mutants, led by Sam/ Thunderbird, portrayed by Blair Redford.
