The company sent out invites for a press briefing on March 20, which kicks off at 1.30 PM. Though it doesn't spell out the words Redmi 4A or any specific mention of the phone, but the invite makes it almost clear that the Redmi 4A is the new entrant in the Indian market.
According to Digit, Redmi 4A will support unibody metal design like all recent Redmi-branded smartphones. The Redmi 4A comes with 5-inches 720p HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 chipset. The handset is clubbed with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The new flagship was the cheapest among the Redmi 4 series that was launched, priced at RMB 499, which translates to approximately Rs 5,000. And the fact that the smartphone comes with a very good an affordable price tag and features 4G VoLTE support and is powered by a Snapdragon 425 is its high point.
As far as photography's concern, the Redmi 4A comes with 13-megapixel primary camera, paired with a single LED flash. On the front, it sports a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
