Moto G5 Plus launch has created quite a competition for the Xaomi Redmi Note 4. Both feature-packed, budget-friendly smartphones have some interesting promises to earn users' trust.

According to BGR, Moto G5 Plus comes with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat software. Along with that its all-metal design and Google Assistant service adds points to the pros.

Moto G5 Plus features 12-megapixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and dual autofocus pixels and 5-megapixel wide-angle front camera. Like several Moto devices, this one also has Moto Display and Moto Actions features.

Moto G5 Plus comes with the all new One Button Navigation option. This feature allows the users to move around the screens using just the fingerprint sensor.

Apart from that Moto G5 Plus also include a 5.2-inch full-HD screen and runs on 2GHz Snapdragon 625 processor. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back and up to 128GB storage expansion.

Moto G5 Plus promises a long lasting battery life with its 3000mAh fast-charging battery. The price depends on the variant of the device. The 16GB storage plus 3GB RAM version has been priced at Rs. 14,999 or about $230 while the 32GB storage plus 4GB RAM model costs Rs. 16,999 or about $260.

On the other hand, Gadget 360 noted that Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 has already earned a strong footing as one of the most affordable smartphones. It has a bigger screen size than its competitor, featuring at 5.5-inch. The display resolution of both the devices is same.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow software. It does not have features like Google Assistant and Moto Actions. Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 wins at the battery capacity, boasting 4100mAh battery. It has the same chipset as its competitor.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 comes in three variants when it comes to pricing. The 32GB storage plus 2GB RAM costs, Rs. 9,999 or about $150, the 32GB storage plus 3GB RAM has been priced at Rs. 10,999 or about $170 and the 64GB plus 4GB RAM comes at Rs. 12,999 or $200.
