Qualcomm To Implement 4G Connectivity in Entry-level Handsets With Its 205 Mobile Platform

According to ZDNet, the 205 mobile platform will bring all the features of 4G LTE and 4G services to such entry-level mobile phones leaving up the ashes of 3G connectivity. This platform also includes next-gen services like Voice over LTE (VoLTE), Voice over Wi-Fi (VoWi-Fi) and many other similar utilities.
As per a report by Ars Technica, the platform will enable users, theoretically, 150Mbps download speed alongside 50Mbps upload speed, improved Bluetooth 4.1 support for handling local wireless connectivity and flawless content transfer along with a dual-core 1.1GHz chipset for highly-capable workloads. However, the platform gazes down a bit with the display at the 480p highest resolution and lesser powerful 3MP camera support in both rear and front end. The platform reportedly activates with Linux-based operating systems which is accessible with Android support.
Most remarkably, the 205 mobile platform comes with a revolutionary battery life context of - 45 days of standby time, 20 hours of talk time, and 86 hours of music playback. This is one of the hugest attributes a single mobile platform could have ever offered. Qualcomm has already unveiled 205 mobile platform and it is expected to be seen equipped with entry-level handsets in India, Latin America and Southeast Asia by the second quarter of 2017
