'Dead Rising 4: Frank Rising' DLC, Single-Player Add On Available Soon on April 2017
A lot of exciting things are in store for "Dead Rising 4: Frank Rising" this year. This includes a new single-player add-on and a DLC for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC. Not only that, the official DLC description and a gameplay walkthrough has been released.
According to Polygon, "Dead Rising 4: Frank Rising" will see Frank West find himself infected by the zombie virus, which turns him into the very enemy he has been fighting against for a lot of his life. Now that he is a zombie, he goes through the city looking for potential victims to feast upon. And while a "former ally" does find him, he concludes that Frank is without hope as he is "incurable." Despite this, Frank stumbles upon help "from an unlikely resource."
As for the official DLC description of "Dead Rising 4: Frank Rising", Xbox notes, "Frank is infected and wanders the city beaten, bloody and driven only by a need to feast. When a former ally discovers him, he is written off as incurable. Luckily, he'll find help from an unlikely resource. As Frank begins to recover he'll need to race to find a permanent cure while developing all-new abilities and strength. Unfortunately, he can no longer eat food to stay alive and must feast on others to survive."
"Dead Rising 4: Frank Rising" single-player add-on is slated to be released on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC for only $10.00 SRP on April 4, 2017.
Aside from the Frank-centric DLC, Capcom will also release the "Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf" this spring for Xbox One and Windows 10 players. This will bring players in the greens at the Willamette Mall where they can play mini golf after unlocking specialized golf clubs, balls, and costumes.
Players can get hold of "Dead Rising 4: Frank Rising" as a standalone game for $9.99, but those who already purchased the "Dead Rising 4" Season Pass can automatically receive the DLC upon release.
