According to Tech2, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) has been seen on benchmarking websites; Geekbench and GFXBench. This somewhat indicated that the handset's release is perhaps just around the corner. Moreover, reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) will arrive in different variants depending on the market. The international version of this device has a model number SM-J530 meanwhile, the one which has been spotted on Geekbench comes with SM-J530FM.
When it comes with the specs, Phone Arena has learned that the Samsung Galaxy J5 2017 will feature a modest 4.8-inch display with HD (720p) resolution. This mid-range handset from Samsung will be engineered by an octa-core Exynos 7870 processor that will be coupled with Mali-T830 graphics processing unit and 2 GB of RAM. The device will also house a 16 GB of internal memory that can be further expanded through microSD.
As for the camera department, the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) might have a 12-megapixel front-facing snapper and a 12-megapixel rear-facing shooter that is good for selfies. It was also worth mentioning that both the rear and front camera can record full HD (1080p) videos, but then, the snapper at the back of the device is the only one which has a LED flash.
Aside from the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017), it can be remembered that the South Korean tech company also launched Samsung Galaxy A series smartphones namely; Samsung Galaxy A5 and Samsung Galaxy A7 earlier this month. With this, it really seems that Samsung is not just focusing on high-end smartphones but it also wanted to deliver its fans mid-range devices.
As of this moment, Samsung hasn't confirmed anything about the device yet especially when it comes with the release date. But then, seeing the Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) in Geekbench and GFXBench benchmarking test it is safe to assume that this handset's launch is near.
