While the top-rated television series "Sherlock" is on break between seasons, fans may rejoice as they are being treated to special episodes of their favorite show while waiting for the next season to begin. Season three of "Sherlock" is set to be available on the streaming service Netflix on Monday. In addition to that, 30-minute specials of behind the scenes and "making of" features will be accompanying each of the three episodes. The half-hour specials are called "Sherlock Uncovered," and the hour-long special on the making of the entire series is called "Unlocking Sherlock." These special episodes will surely please the fans that always had to wait quite a long time for each episode to be released. This is also true for entire seasons since no confirmations have been made so far regarding the scheduled date of the fourth one.

Stars Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman along with creators Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat readily talk about the television show, including trivia, tidbits and other information that will surely capture the interest of fans. They also focus on the women of the show, including Watson's wife Mary, Molly Hooper the pathologist, and the show's villains. Their take on the show will make viewers want to rewatch the third season in order to catch details they may have previously missed.

Inevitably, the creators and the stars were asked about the much-awaited fourth season to which they gave rather unclear answers. When asked by Vulture, producer Sue Vertue said that they are still literally in the middle of working the whole thing out. She was also rather apologetic for feeding the show's fans only so much, saying, "That's all you're getting for now." However, she also reassured fans by saying that they are going in the right direction, and they have nothing to worry about.

Seasons one and two are available for streaming on Hulu as well.
