'Final Fantasy XV' Update: Official Launch Announced, Square Enix Aims to Make Chapter 13 Better
Players who have played through "Final Fantasy XV" will always have a strong opinion on the game's Chapter 13. Whether players have completed it without much problem or completely hated it, Square Enix's promised update on the chapter is finally here with an attempt to fix it.
"Final Fantasy XV" Chapter 13, Verse 2 adds in an alternate route featuring Gladiolus, where this chapter has been plagued with multiple problems as claimed by the players of the game. According to Crunchyroll, Square Enix has also released a quick preview in the new updated "Final Fantasy XV" trailer featuring the said chapter.
The said trailer also shows some other new updates and features, as well as a preview of the Episode Gladiolus DLC and a scene depicting Noct doing something to Adamantoise at the end of the Chapter.
Players have different impressions with regards to the original version of Chapter 13, but arguably the main problem with it is that it has the tendency to drag on forever, where players tend to get bored with it and just ultimately stop playing the game.
According to IGN, after a decade in development hell, "Final Fantasy XV: has officially released late last year to critical acclaim courtesy of a vastly-improved plot over its previous single-player only predecessor, along with a slick combat system that features real-time and traditional JRPG elements brilliantly, as well as an amazingly gorgeous and expansive world for every player to explore on.
Still, while the stunningly breathtaking open-world of Lucis has been considered as the most celebrated one in "Final Fantasy XV's" cap, criticisms that the game is currently receiving has been aimed at its final third, as its supposed-to-be open-world focus narrows down into finely structured and bland chapters in the build up to its dramatic finale; Chapter 13, in particular, is the main on in the brunt of this negative feedback.
