"Once Upon a Time's" season four finale still has fans talking encouraging the ABC show's creators, Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, to share some of their thoughts on the season's conclusion.

In celebration of winning five awards at Entertainment Weekly's vote-based fifth annual Season Finale Awards (Best Romantic Cliffhanger, Funniest Moment in a Drama, Biggest Regret That I Didn't See It, I Just Heard or Read About It, Dumbest Move by a Character Who Should Be Smarter and Cheesiest Effect), Kitsis and Horowitz talked about the show's twists during an interview on Entertainment Weekly Radio.

One of the episode's biggest shockers had Regina (Lana Parilla) recognizing the possibility of true love escaping her a second time, thanks to the reintroduction of Robin Hood's (Sean Maguire) former widow, Marian (Christie Laing).

"[Parilla] was like, 'Oh, I'm really enjoying this. I'm falling in love,' and we said, 'Great, enjoy it because we are going to destroy you," Kitsis shared.

Meanwhile, the creators admit they were surprised to see fan opinion change so dramatically for the Evil Queen.

"What's amazing for us is that this is a woman who started the show trying to kill all the lead characters, and now everyone's mad at us for ripping away her boyfriend," Horowitz said during the interview.

The creators also talked about how they will tackle Elsa, the season five villain who was teased at the end of the season four finale and inspired by Disney's record breaking 2013 animated hit, "Frozen."

"For us, I think this is Elsa from 'Frozen,"' Kitsis said. "That was kind of the inspiration."

In true "Once Upon a Time" fashion, however, there will inevitably be a Storybrooke twist on the cold character.

"Will there be our own elements put to it? Yes," Horowitz said. "Like all things like we do with Snow White or Peter Pan or Captain Hook, we take our own kind of twist on it but remaining faithful to the actual essence of the character."
