Honda Civic Type R To Be Releasing In US At AutoCon In Los Angeles
Honda Civic Type R was recently seen in a global debut in Geneva in the earlier part of 2017. However, reports are stating that the first production 2017 Type R is supposed to be unveiled in Los Angeles at this year's AutoCon Convention.
The AutoCon event has been reportedly holding events made by and for auto enthusiasts since 2010. AutoCon has previously been helping up in San Francisco, Seattle, Miami, New York City. It has additionally been held up in Los Angeles and New Jersey, reports Concept Carz.
The AutoCon event is aimed at providing a platform for different makers of the Automotive industry to showcase their product. It basically helps in providing a positive environment where the audience can learn, contact and share their interests. The core focus of this event is to provide a stage for extraordinary vehicles to be debuted. Thus, it all makes sense for the Honda Civic Type R to be debuted on this stage.
The Honda Civic Type R is reportedly powered by a 2.0-liter DOHC, direct-injected and turbocharged i-VTEC in-line 4-cylinder engine. The Additionally the engine of the Type R is estimated to produce 306 horsepower at 6500rpm. Reports claim that the front wheels of the Type R is where the power is sent via a 6-speed manual transmission. Honda's new Type R Civic is supposed to be the fastest and a unique engine that Honda has come up until now, reports News West9.
Reports claim that the looks of the Type R Civic are polarizing. However, the Type R is most probably going to be available in the U.S in the late spring. Cost is estimated to be in mid $30,000 range. However, reports claim that for fans on another side will have to wait for the Auto Show in New York on April 12.
