Miley Cyrus Reportedly Doesn't Want Billy Ray Cyrus to Become Next Bruce Jenner; Will Bangerz Tour Singer Do Concert Special With Dad?
Miley Cyus isn't a fan of reality TV, and she's making sure that her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, isn't either.
According to the Huffington Post, the 21-year-old singer is banning her father from ever doing reality TV. Apparently, Bill Ray has been contacted by several television networks, including E!, Bravo and Lifetime, pitching a reality series like "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" with Billy Ray and his family.
"Billy Ray has turned down what must be his sixth reality show offer in the last four years because Miley has been very strict with her parents about not doing them, even though they have been offered a fortune by all the big players, including Bravo, Lifetime and E!, to open up their home to cameras," an insider from RadarOnline.com said.
The site reports that one of Miley's biggest concerns a reality series is that she sees what being one has done to Bruce Jenner of "KUWTK." Jenner, who was once known for his Olympic win, is now known as the "KUWTK" dad who is the butt of everyone's jokes. With that being said, Miley doesn't want her dad to become the next Bruce Jenner.
Fair enough.
Instead, Miley is reportedly more interested in doing an exclusive special on the family to give fans what they want (and put money in her parents' pockets) without having to suffer from the long-term, often drama-filled effects of reality TV.
"Miley would much rather do a Christmas special or a concert at the Hollywood Bowl with her dad rather than watch him embarrass himself like Bruce Jenner on TV every week," the RadarOnline insider claimed.
Whether or not Miley will decide to participate in reality television remains to be seen. Either way, her life already seems like an open book given the way she invites her fans into her personal issues as we've seen from her "Bangerz" tour.
