It's sure going to be interesting to see how Justin Bieber attempts to finagle his way out of this scandal.

TMZ recently released an old video of a 15-year-old Justin Bieber making an extremely racist joke.

TMZ reported that the video was shot backstage at a promotional event early in his career. TMZ caught hold of the video years ago but only decided to release it now because Bieber was 15-years-old at the time when the video footage was shot. He was immediately apologetic towards his actions.

In the video, we see Justin Bieber sitting on a couch with his friends sporting the signature quaff that he was once famous for.

He asked his friends, "Why are black people afraid of chain saws?"

One of his friends immediately tries to stop him by saying, "Don't even say it. Don't say it."

But unfortunately, Justin says it anyway: "Run N***er," mimicking the sound of a chain saw.

Yikes!

Check out the video below:

British site, The Sun, was the first to post the video before TMZ.

According to the Sun, the footage was taken during filming of Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never" documentary in 2011.

After the footage was shot, Justin's reps allegedly try to buy the video for a large amount of money so that it would never get leaked to the public.

But as we can see now, that plan obviously failed.

"This video is Justin Bieber and his camp's worst nightmare. Even after the year he's had, when he's never been far from controversy, this tops the lot," a source told the Sun.

So now the question remains: Is Justin Bieber a racist?

Probably not, given his posse of African American friends, his musical collaborations with African American artists and his musical mentor Usher.

But even though he may or may not be racist, that still does not excuse his carless, insensitive and racist joke.

As mentioned before, it will be interesting to see how the Biebs tries to clean this mess up.
