Jennifer Lopez is proving that she's still the same ol' "Jenny from the Block" by offering up a free concert to her fans in her native borough of Bronx in New York City

Complex reported that Lopez is teaming up with State Farm for the free performance.

J.Lo's show will be part of State Farm's "State Farm Neighborhood Sessions" to celebrate Lopez's neighborhood and to celebrate the first time ever performing in the Bronx.

The free show will take place on June 4 at Orchard Beach. Doors will open at 5 p.m.

According to CBS, more than 25,000 people are expected to descend on the area for the concert at nearby Orchard Beach, which is located just north of City Island on Long Island Sound.

Though J.Lo fans who live in New York are most likely very excited for this upcoming performance, residents who live near Orchard Beach aren't too happy.

So why aren't they too thrilled with this idea?

Well, residents fear that the performance, which is expected to draw in a huge crowd, will bring unwanted traffic to the area and stop residents from going where they want to go.

"I think it's stupid, and whoever thought of it is stupid," one resident told CBS.

Another resident said, "I have a husband in the hospital I have to get home from. I think I have a right to get home."

Even the City Island Civic Association weighed in on the show and said it's worried the road off of Interstate-95 heading to City Island Road will turn into a parking lot.

To alleviate some of the anxiety and stress that City Islanders are experiencing, NYPD will reportedly dedicate a road solely to City Island residents to avoid an abundance of traffic.

Hopefully, that idea actually works.
