Latest Durability Test Confirms LG G6 Is 'Built Like A Tank'
Though there have been some mixed feelings about the latest LG G6 as well as how it will deliver in a stacked smartphone market, on the whole, most smartphone experts believe that it is quite a nifty phone. Despite all the doubts and critics, there's no denying one fact that the LG G6 is truly built to be durable.
According to The Next Web, YouTuber JerryRigEverything has put the LG G6 to a durability test. Following his videos, viewers would notice that he puts devices to a variety of bend, scratch, and even burn tests
Only a few devices have ever miserably failed the bend test, but on most shows, at least an alarming degree of flex or deformation with enough pressure has been applied. The YouTube channel has most recently chosen the LG G6 to showcase its durability, and as was seen in the recent video, it can be seen that the smartphone hardly flexes at all.
Unlike the older LG G5's questionable metal painting process, which was exposed by the same YouTube Channel, the LG G6 is made of pure metal all throughout its frame, with the display being the only one that is of different material, which is obviously glass.
According to Scoopnest, in a recent video, Jerry, who is the owner of the YouTube channel as well as the host, opened up the LG G6 to show everyone just exactly what makes it so durable. When the device was opened, it shows that LG has used some of the techniques that were learned from the V20 in order to match the phone's military standard drop testing.
Despite this, many still doubt that the LG G6 is truly durable since it has a glass display, which still gives the phone a chance of being damaged. With LG's new durable smartphone, people will have to wait and see just how the Samsung Galaxy S8 would fare once it comes around, but if durability is to be concerned, the LG G6 is truly worth the look.
