'Ghost Recon: Wildlands' To Receive First DLC; Release Date, Details Revealed
In the recent gaming news, the first ever expansion for "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands," entitled Narco Road, will officially be released this coming April 25 for $14.99 for all gaming platforms. Season pass holders will be the first ones to have access to the DLC on April 18, a full week prior to its official release.
Talking about "Ghost Recon: Wildland's" expansion, in Narco Road, the player's main objective is to earn the trust of three new gang bosses, who are overall led by the elusive El Invisible in Bolivia. According to IGN, there are a total of 15 campaign missions for players to play through in their effort to ultimately take down El Invisible, as well as new types of alternate missions, and racing challenges, which if completed will earn a player more fame and followers.
The expansion also features four exclusive outfits and nine new weapons to use, including four new vehicle types: Motorcycles, monster trucks, nitro-boosted muscle cars, and aerobatic planes. An upcoming new update for "Ghost Recon: Wildlands" will also be released on April 12 for consoles and April 14 for the PC, which introduces a new feature, weekly challenges, that will refresh every Wednesday.
According to Express, these challenges all equate to a themed season, exploring a story across six weeks, and completing them will reward players with up to three unique, in-game items per week. The first season will feature players combatting Unidad's threat to the country in The Rise and Fall of Unidad in "Ghost Recon: Wildlands."
Fallen Ghosts, which is the second expansion for "Ghost Recon: Wildlands," is going to be available in the near future, and will be introducing an all-new 4v4 PvP mode. The still-available $40 season pass will include both of the said expansions, a permanent 5 percent XP booster, a single-use two hour XP booster, more added missions, and some additional equipment packs.
